Henderson Greenprene Bibbed Hood, 3 mm

Henderson Greenprene Hood 3mm is an ultra-soft, stretchy, durable, and lightweight diving hood. It’s made from Greenprene®, a sustainable insulating foam that offers exceptional warmth, flexibility, and durability, along with excellent UV resistance.

Unlike traditional neoprene, Greenprene® is 100% neoprene-free. It’s significantly lighter and more eco-friendly, making it a great choice for environmentally conscious divers.

This material has been tested and certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a BioPreferred® product. Greenprene® is made from deproteinized natural rubber combined with renewable, natural additives such as sugarcane, plant oils, and oyster shells.

INTERIOR – The recycled BIO-SPAN fabric laminate is manufactured from recycled water bottles. The fabric was tested and selected for its superior comfort, warmth and ridiculous stretch. There is simply nothing else like it in the water today.  The fabric is made from (88% recycled polyester and 12% Nylon), which has been tested AZO-free and is Oeko-tex certified.

EXTERIOR – The recycled AQUA-SILK  exterior fabric laminate is manufactured from recycled water bottles. The fabric was tested and selected for its durability, abrasion and Velcro resistance as well as its fast drying properties. The fabric is made from (88% recycled polyester and 12% spandex), which has been tested AZO-free and Oeko-tex certified.
